ABOUT
Sentilla Hawley (she/her) is a communications professional with a rich background in brand development and communication strategy. Having played a pivotal role at the Center for Women's Leadership, she spearheaded a comprehensive rebranding initiative for the NEW Leadership Oregon (NLO) program, crafting a cohesive image across all programming, promotions, and events. Currently leading Communications at Verde, Sentilla has demonstrated her prowess by doubling the organization's social media following within her first year, a testament to her strategic acumen.
Sentilla holds a dual bachelor's degree in Communications and Liberal Studies from Portland State University, specializing in Women’s Studies and Advertising Management. Her ambition and creativity drive her to navigate consumer trends while anticipating forthcoming opportunities.
She is a proud member of the Kenaitze Tribe and brings a unique perspective to the communications landscape, deeply rooted in storytelling, artistry, and a steadfast commitment to social justice. She champions the amplification of voices and issues central to her community, approaching her work with an intersectional lens to ensure inclusivity and representation. Passionate about leveraging her skills and perspective to empower others, Sentilla is dedicated to uplifting underrepresented voices and fostering positive change.
